About the Artist

Kamael is a Washington, DC–based abstract artist inspired by the quiet beauty of the horizon, where earth meets sky. Her work reflects a deep appreciation for open space, natural light, and the sense of calm found in expansive landscapes.

Through layers of color and intuitive movement, she allows each piece to evolve organically, resulting in work that feels both grounded and atmospheric, inviting moments of stillness and reflection.

Kamael’s paintings are held in private collections and have been exhibited in local shows and art events throughout the DC area. Her work resonates with collectors, designers, and homeowners seeking pieces that bring a sense of serenity and grounding into their spaces.

Kamael serves on the board of Chevy Chase Art (Ch/Art), a nonprofit community arts organization serving the Washington DC area. A native Vermonter, Kamael now resides in Chevy Chase, D.C., along with her husband, three children, and their dog, Beau.
